All you need to know about Unibet

Unibet review

Unibet is a UK-based company, and one of the oldest online sportsbooks going having first opened their virtual doors in 2004, having already been a telephone gambling advice service for several years. With this pedigree comes one of the best services in the business, making Unibet a personal favorite of ours.

Despite their age though, Unibet is determined to keep growing, offering an enticing matching bet bonus to new players up to £40 if you lose your first bet.

Backed up by both the UK Gaming Commission and Gibraltar Gaming Commission they are also one of the most trusted names in the industry; if you choose to gamble with Unibet, you can rest assured your money is safe. If you ever do have a problem though, an extremely helpful and professional customer support service will be there to deal with your issue as quickly as possible.

Unibet also offers one of the best betting experiences out there. With a simple design, highly competitive odds, and a massive range of markets with options such as live betting, odds boosting, and request-a-bets they absolutely do not disappoint.

Our only real complaint with Unibet is the mobile app is not great and can be a bit clunky to say the least. With the browser version working perfectly for us on mobile though this is hardly an inconvenience at all!

Overall, Unibet is a fantastic sportsbook, and we are not at all surprised with their with a whopping 1.5 million active users in 2020. Their success is thoroughly well deserved.

Unibet sign up offer

Unibet’s welcome bonus is absolutely perfect for casual gamblers and is even enough to draw those with more experience in. Unibet bonus code will match your first bet in the form of free sports bets up to £40 if you lose it, AND give you £10 in free Casino bets.

An offer like this is doubly tempting. No matter what you will get to play with the free casino bets, and because the bet matching is only if you lose, you are actually incentivised to put a high odds hail Mary bet on that normally you may avoid.

There are a few key details to bear in mind though, and we will quickly run through them to make sure you aren’t left scratching your head at why you haven’t got those freebies.

The first of these is the wagering requirements of the free bets that they give you, which somewhat confusingly do vary. Free sports bets have a 3x wagering requirement before you can withdraw them if you spend them on conventional sports, but if you go to virtual sports these have a 4x wagering requirement. The casino bonus meanwhile has a 50x wagering requirement across the board. This last one is a little high, but when it is free we aren’t going to complain!

You also have to make sure you use the free bets within the 7 day time limit. Trust us, nothing is more frustrating than losing your free bets because you weren’t paying attention and missed the deadline, so avoid the risk and use them as soon as possible.

Unibet App mobile

As we said, this is the only point that really lets Unibet Sportsbook down for us and stops it from getting a perfect score. They do have an app, it does work, it is just a bit of an uphill struggle often irritating display to screen sizes having to scroll across to look at more odds or actually place a bet.

Again though, seeing as the website version works absolutely beautifully on mobile this is just a minor blip and definitely not something to let put you off an otherwise fantastic sportsbook!

Unibet Markets

It’s safe to say that if it is a major sports market, Unibet has it covered. We won’t go into detail about every single market they have but football, horseracing, cricket, motorsports, boxing, rugby, basketball, American Football, and baseball are all there alongside many others.

When in these you can bet with excellent odds either before or during play, with odds boost and request-a-bets on all of the major events.

They also regularly run political and novelty bets for popular cultural events such as Royal baby names, and although we can’t comment on the quality of the odds for these, they are definitely a fun change every now and again!

Unibet: deposits and withdrawals

As you would expect from a top tier bookie, Unibet accept a large variety of payment methods and so there should be something for everyone. Credit cards, prepaid cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and eWallets are all supports, with eWallets such as Neteller and Skrill being favorites here at International Betting for their ease, speed, and security.

Unibet contact

An area Unibet really do excel in, and we just love them for, is in their customer service. Not only to they offer a large FAQ section and a 24/7 live chat service, but also have an email (info-uk@unibetsupport.com) and phone line (0800329393) which are easy to find and use. We have found all of these routes extremely helpful, and this goes a long way to securing Unibet as one of the best sportsbooks out there.
